About SnoreMate Snoring Device

SnoreMate® is a specially designed mouth guard (also known as a Mandibular Advancement Device) that is worn during sleep to prevent snoring. It is easy to fit and is highly regarded as being the most effective way to eliminate snoring.

How does it work? SnoreMate works by gently and comfortably holding your lower jaw in a slightly forward position while you sleep. This opens the airway in your throat, thus minimising the vibrating of the soft palate at the back of the mouth which is the common cause of snoring.

> SnoreMate snoring device is made of an FDA approved material and does not contain any harmful properties.

> SnoreMate snoring device is used by Sleep Clinics, Dentists and Doctors.

> SnoreMate does not require any special cleaning products; toothpaste is all that is required.

> SnoreMate is simple and easy to custom mold to the shape of your mouth, one size fits all.

> Snoremate is NOT recommended if you suffer from TMJD (Tempro Mandibular Joint Disorder) – this can cause pain or clicking in the area of the jaw joint.

How to Fit SnoreMate Mouthpiece

The SnoreMate® mouthpiece is generally worn at night. It holds your lower jaw slightly forward while you sleep thus opening up or widening your airway (respiratory tract) which in turn enables air to flow more freely and at a slower rate. Vibration of the loose tissue ceases and snoring is eliminated.

How to fit the Snoremate Mouthpiece
01

Fill a kettle or small saucepan with enough water to allow the SnoreMate® to be completely submerged. Heat on a stove or microwave until the water boils vigorously. Do not put the SnoreMate into the water whilst it is boiling. Remove the boiling water from the heat source.

02

Holding the tab, dip the SnoreMate® into the hot water for exactly 6 seconds in order to soften the plastic. Please ensure the mouthpiece does not come in contact with the sides or bottom of the kettle/saucepan.

03

Remove the SnoreMate® from the hot water and gently shake off the excess water.

04

Holding the tab with the TOP facing up, move the lower jaw into a comfortable forward position. Place the warm SnoreMate® onto the lower jaw and bite in the forward position. (Remember the most forward comfortable position will give the best results).

05

The SnoreMate® will be warm but will not burn you. Suck the air out of the mouthpiece and with your tongue and lips press against the mouthpiece to get a tight custom fit. You can use your fingers to press against your lips and cheeks to improve the custom fit.

06

Remove the SnoreMate® and place in ice-cold water to set the shape.

07

Refit the SnoreMate® into your mouth to check the fit.

We suggest that you do not remove the tab for the first night to ensure that you have the correct lower jaw position. It can then be removed by cutting it off with a pair of scissors as close to the mouthpiece as possible.

If you do not stop snoring completely, re-mould the SnoreMate with your jaw extended a little further forward. It may take a few nights to get accustomed to sleeping with the SnoreMate mouthpiece, but please persevere. A plastic watertight storage container is included in the pack. Use either toothpaste or mouthwash to keep the anti snore device hygienically clean.

* Please Note: SnoreMate® is only suitable for adults. It is not recommended for those who wear braces or dentures or have any nasal obstruction. If you suspect that you may suffer from Obstructive Sleep Apnea, please consult your physician before attempting to use a Mandibular Advancement Device or other anti-snoring mouthpiece.

Try the SnoreMate® Test

SnoreMate® works by moving the lower jaw forward during sleep. This allows the airway to increase in diameter, thereby reducing the velocity of the air traveling into the lungs, and hence eliminating or reducing the level of vibrations in the throat tissue.

Move your lower jaw forward. Now try and snore as hard as you can!

You can see if your lower jaw is pushed forward this position makes it nearly impossible to snore.
